"Sorry, it's not exactly my cup of tea."

"Rarely does an album capture a moment in time the way in which Skorbvstr's Sakte Fort Veldig Kraftig has managed to subdue the slippery atmosphere of 2020. No evidence is needed to lend credence to the claim that this year has been bleak, raw, harsh, and solemn; a trudging timeline of frustration and maliciousness; a water torture-esque pattern of bad news; Black Metal through and through in many ways. After several listens to the album, and at least one listen driving through torrential rain, that my impression matched the purpose of the single individual behind Skorbvstr, no less a victim of this year's misery and bitterness than any other, is evidence of the the power of emotional transmission achievable through Black Metal."

“The debut EP from this US one-man act released in the year of the plague.
Having uploaded first his latest release this one surely deserves to take some notice as well. It is not as polished as the latter one but definitely does not lack in any other way, keeping a well balance between harshness and melancholy.
The guitar playing and those haunting vocals are what astonishes me even with his other EP and makes me going on repeating to listening it one after another.
A gifted artist doing this sort of work solo, is just amazing.”

“Skorbvstr plays a style of black metal that is very raw and lo-fi sounding. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics are written in Norwegian and cover dark themes along with some of the words being translated from one of my reviews into a different language. In my opinion Skorbvster are a very great sounding raw and lo-fi black metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep”

"Don’t let the hand-scrawled college desk graffiti looking logo fool you, this is some seriously bleak shit from Kentucky USA. Wave after abrasive wave of destructive rawness relentlessly breaks and crashes on Skorbvstr‘s Sakte Fort Veldig Kraftig, but with a tense cruelty and anxiety behind it too – the crimes this record has committed are nothing compared to the ones it wants to commit. Self released on tape and CD with an LP on the way via Snow Wolf Records, also available at name-your-price. Check it."

US Black Metal. A one man, Keeper of the Glyph (Artemis Orland), band. Some extremely catchy moments & unforgetable melodies here. I would like to call it polished raw BM because the vocals are quite raw & very haunting but the overall feel is more rounded than usual raw BM... :) Great album! Thanks Glyph! US Symphonic Black Metal. I should really say utterly amazing music as well! Such consistency is rare indeed & this is a pleasure to listen to beyond words! It really does take things to a higher plane! Some lyrics would be nice... :) Very highly recommended! bmurator
